I'm moving house tomorrow and I'm not going to have net access for about a week.

While I'm off line, I should have time to finish the 2 starter packs ready for when I get back online (fingers crossed)

Early version of the Starter.Racing pack

I've released an early version of the starter.racing pack.

TSE owners can find the download link by going to the "TSE Starter.racing download" thread thats on the TSE private forum.

Please post any bug on the forum.

There will be a public release of the starter.racing pack with the .exe very soon.

Update: as of the 20th of march, the starter.racing port as had 329 downloads!

TSE Bounty

About 2 weeks after I started on the Starter.fps port, the folks at Garage Games (the makes of TSE in case you didn't know) put a bounty out for a simple starter.fps to be used in TSE.

Afew days ago Garage Games picked the port I did as the winner of the bounty, so the starter.fps should come as part of TSE in the future. :p

It's also amazing to see theres been over 1000 downloads of the starter.fps and demo files... I was only expecting a few :p

I can't wait to see how the starter.racing pack goes!

Another thing: When I did the starter.fps port, I made an image to submit as an "Image Of The Day" on Garage Games but I changed my mind and forgot about it.
So it's wasen't a total waste of time doing it...

TSE Starter.Racing Port

Ive spent the last few days porting the starter.racing pack over to TSE and it's about 70% working.

The only problem I had was with the speedometer which wasnt letting me drive the car without TSE crashing.
But after I edited out the speedometer (thanks James) Its all working fine.






Main things left to do are, fix the speedometer, re-export the buildings, look for any bugs and take out any code thats not needed. :)



I'll see about releasing an early version in the next few days for people to play around with.
